We absolutely love the butterflies. I put them in my girls room and there are so many that it looks like they are flying all over the room. The wings are a little transparent so if your room is painted a bright color it will definately show through. On a white wall, they look really good. I was a bit apprehensive ordering this particular nightlight sight unseen but took the chance since I saw such positive reviews for all the other colors offered. This was a wonderful buy!! The switch base is white, the petal base is a purple tone and the butterfly is a beautiful lavender/bluish tone. I was actually very surprised to see a very detailed butterfly "body". The butterfly is "stiffened" by the fact that the fiber optic material is it's base.

National Geographic Readers: Sea Turtles

This book gives general information about sea turtles, where and how they live, the different types of turtles, and why they are endangered. I confess, I didn't really think that I would learn anything new from this book, after all it is for beginning readers, but I did learn some cool new things. For example, the leatherback turtle is not only the biggest sea turtle species (up to 7 feet long), but it doesn't have a hard shell, just rubbery skin with small bones underneath. I highly recommend this book and others in the series for students who love animals, jokes, and cool facts to share.

What I expect from a kids' lunch box is that it holds up well for at least one school year. This lunch box passed the test. My 1st grader used it each day throughout the school year. Now that the year is over, it looks a little ratty with two very tiny rips, but it's still fully functional with working zippers. But he has outgrown the monkey design. This lunch box is a little softer around the sides than the stiffer Crocodile Creek lunch box. I've used both and like both (the Crocodile Creek lunch box also held up well for everyday use during the school year). Wish these lunch boxes lasted longer, but they are what they are.

I ordered this light for my 20 month old son who's room has no exposed sockets for a traditional night light. It is super cute and he has loved it from the get go. For the hour before he goes to bed, he carries his "dino" around with him everywhere. We place it on the charging base outside his crib at night and love the fact that if he wakes and needs it, it comes on just by taking it off of the base. No fumbling with buttons half asleep in the dark. It is not very big, but lights up the room just the right amount to keep him happy. These "stickers" are the most adorable jungle animals I have ever seen. I've ordered a ton of items off amazon over the years and this is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review. I ordered this set for our first child and couldn't be more happy. His nursery looks so warm and welcoming! It is rare to find a product that looks even better in person than it does online but this set actually does. The colors and textures of the fabric are beautiful and really well made. I've used the blanket that comes with the set for tummy time on the floor and it is plush enough for my son to be comfortable. I also ordered the matching Hamper and it is adorable - a great way to complete the room. If you are so inclined, there are companies out there that will hand paint matching letter blocks if you would like to use your child's name as wall art. I would highly recommend this product to anyone and will definitely be buying more from Cocalo in the future!

Cloud b Sleep Sheep Four Soothing Sounds From Nature

Our two year old got one of these as an infant and the 'rain' noise has been a staple to help him fall asleep since. His "Sheepie" is a close companion even when the noise is not playing. We bought another one just last week to give as a baby gift, and found that they had upgraded a little. Our sleep sheep only plays 23 minutes of noise, but the newer model give you the option of the noise lasting 23 minutes or 45 minutes. That's a nice addition, as the 23 minutes sometimes is too short. We have machine washed and dried this MANY times and it seems to be standing up to the beatings a washing machine can give a stuffed animal.
